General Activities

All the service components are primarily targeting PWDs, their families and the community
at large. To ensure the right of PWds and to access all the opportunities, CFE is adhering to
basic CBR principles which is the best approach to mobilize the entire community and with
all the available local resource at the grassroots levels.

To make the Community Based Rehabilitation(CBR) movement more effective as a vehicle
for community development the key strategies that CFE uses are-:

                  - CBR as part of community Health Development
                  -CBR as economic empowerment
-CBR as part of Education and Training Development
                  -CBR and HIV /AIDS

Presently CFE has developed relationships and works in collaboration with a number of
likeminded organizations. These are in two
categories: Funding Agencies and Networking Agencies .

CFE could have not achieved its objectives without the generous support and genuine back-up
given by the Government Organizations, Non-Government Organizations, Community Based
Organizations and the Community at large.
