a).Direct beneficiaries are 2,700 children and youths with disabilities and the indirect beneficiaries are                population of over 90,000.
           b). Main Activities of the project

                  1). Prevention of Disability through sensitization programs
                        - Organizing sensitization workshop
                        - Establishing CBR committee in each kebeles/sub-cities
                        -Assigning contact persons in health institutions, religion centers... etc

                 2). Rehabilitation of PWDs
                       - provision loan to individuals
                       - Screening and surveillance provision of medical support and low cost appliances
                       - Teaching sign language
                       - provision of counseling and Follow up services.. etc

                3). Advocacy and Awareness Education
                       - conduct assessment on policies gap
                       - organizing workshops for decision makers and others
                       - provision of awareness education to project community

                4). Capacity Building
                      - organizing local experience sharing tour
                      - CBR training in abroad
                      - PR training... etc
